International Leadership Council
The International Leadership Council is the Embassy International Fellowship governing board and is headed by the Presiding Apostolic Bishop / Chief Apostle of EIF. It is responsible for general supervision of the fellowship, ecclesiastical and administrative oversight, and support to the Presiding Apostolic Bishop. This appointed council of functional apostles is comprised of skilled master builders that possess mastery of apostolic concepts and principles and are assigned by the Presiding Apostolic Bishop to assess, measure, and provide assistance as necessary within provinces and colonies to produce fully-functional, mature apostolic works. The general oversight for those provinces and colonies rests with its specific headship. The International Leadership Council is not there to govern the province or colony but only to augment its headship and to help ensure its progressive, sustainable growth and development.
The International Leadership Council is also the place where apostles within EIF are strongly admonished to submit their revelations for review to ensure that there are no foundational holes, erroneous concepts or underdeveloped or incomplete thoughts before presenting the revelation as canon to the church at large. Too often, without this biblically-endorsed practice for apostles, incomplete or principally-flawed revelation is prematurely presented to the church, leading to erroneous teaching and many of the fallacies the Apostle Paul and first century apostles warned of and fought against in defending authentic revelation from God and the operation of legitimate apostolic order. This is certainly not to say that the individual did not hear from God or receive revelation from Him but to acknowledge that at times the revelation may not be entire and complete, may be immature and require further development, or that the individual may not fully be aware of more advance apostolic concepts and ideas that would cause the revelation to not stand the weight of apostolic scrutiny and review, requiring slight or possibly significant augmentation. To present the revelation before time and establish it as canon could introduce grave harm and damage to the body. A second possible consequence of not submitting revelation to a council of mature apostles is the potential to become lifted up in pride and off-centered in one’s own apostolic belief system as it relates to God and His purposes, without the necessary revelatory checks and balances, leading to erroneous teaching and the establishment of illegitimate movements based upon the flawed revelation.
The International Leadership Council has been commissioned by the Presiding Apostolic Bishop to ensure the holistic success of EIF’s apostolic headship, establishing a high standard for excellence in ecclesiastical oversight, functional five-fold ministry, provincial and colonial operations, administration and revelation.
