Partnership Ministry

The Embassy International Fellowship second level of relationship is Partnership Ministry, which is an alliance for ecclesiastical leaders, churches, ministries and/or organizations that desire fellowship and to share in events, functions and services but that cannot move “fully” under Embassy International Fellowship as their organizational covering. This relationship type was designed with those in mind that may belong to mainstream denominations that for legal, ecclesiastical or other reasons may be prohibited from engaging in certain types of relationships.

The Partnership Ministry relationship level aligns with the EIF vision and apostolic concept of globalization. In order for the ecumenical body of Christ at large to achieve globalization, it will require integrated efforts of ministry organizations. God is not just concerned with the globalization of a particular church organization but of Christ’s church at large. This mandate thereby stresses the need for a unified approach and strategy.

Partnership Ministry helps ensure that EIF and other similar organizations that are committed to fulfilling the charge of God and advancing His kingdom are not alienated because of incompatibilities of meshing organizational structures and denominational ties. EIF is aware that there are often churches within denominations or of various organizational affiliations that while loyal to their particular organization are aware that there is a need to establish connection with other ministries and organizations for the steady progression of God’s purpose for a city or region. One church is typically not the lone gatekeeper to a city or region and thereby must be able to identify the additional gatekeepers to establish the unity necessary to completely overthrow the reign of darkness in that territory. After identifying the gatekeepers, strategic initiatives must be developed to usher in oneness with the other churches of that territory and collaborative instruments put in place that can help train, equip and prepare the area for a coordinated, regimented move with targeted aim.

The buckshot approach to ministry must change. The church cannot expect the spray from buckshot to “someway somehow” accomplish destruction of the target. The approach must be a unified strategy of kingdom-minded churches aligned in purpose and power that are like spiritual snipers, zeroing in on the chief princes of darkness in that territory and their works that often have been built over several decades and that comprise/control the major systems of that territory – government, business/finance, education just to name a few.

The exact benefits for Partnership Ministry will vary and be highly dependent upon the level of involvement of the leader, church, ministry or organization with the EIF representation in that region. Coordination of efforts will be governed by the particular colony or province that is affiliated directly with the Partnership Ministry. Partnership Ministries are cordially welcomed to all EIF events on a colonial, provincial or international level. The Partnership Ministry is flexible to accommodate the diverse situations and opportunities for collaborative ministry that will exist.
